1. How many DJs in your business? A - We house a super team of 9 Pro-Mix DJs!
2. What sets you apart from your competition? A - Three things: 1) Real, Pro-Mix DJ/MC's... no "juke box" or "button pushers." 2) State-of-the-art sound equipment, and industry leading lighting... both when it comes to dance lighting, and Uplighting & Monograms. 3) We have a highly developed, & proprietary SYSTEM of "Professional Event Management" - to guarantee all of our clients: "Peace of Mind...Every Time!"
3. Can you describe your style? A - The great thing about housing 9 Pro-Mix DJs is that we have a little bit of every style imaginable! We have DJs who specialize in every style & genre: Hip-Hop/R&B, Country, Rock, Oldies, Ethnic Music, you name it! But the one thing that stands firm, no matter the style or genre: We will actually MIX & blend the music so that it's never choppy, with awkward transitions or hard to dance to.
4. Are there any other services that you provide? A - Yes, our industry leading "Dance Lighting" is so crucial to the success of your dance floor - that it just comes with every package! Optionally, however, we do specialize in Uplighting - with the latest technology to be able to blend any color imaginable... especially the all-important wedding colors like Blush, Slate Blue, Sage, Champagne, Gold, etc. Finally - we do offer the option of a personalized Monogram Light, for those who would love to see the first initial of their new last name UP IN LIGHTS!
5. How extensive is your music library or song list? A - Our DJ's typically have 20,000-30,000 songs on hand via pre-loaded hard-drive! But obviously we have access to every song on the internet (albeit we stick to reputable sources such as iTunes, etc. - as opposed to low quality versions from YouTube).
6. Do you act as the MC and make all of the announcements? A - Yes, all BRAVO Live DJs are also highly trained Pro-MCs! But we go above and beyond just "making announcements." Your BRAVO Live DJ will also act as a De facto "day of coordinator" - in the absence of you hiring a separate one. However, we do love working with Professional Coordinators as well... and many exclusively recommend us!
7. How would you define your MC style? A - We do cater to the desires of our client. While our "default" MC style is to be fun and energetic - while remaining professional. Not everyone wants everything too hyped up. So we always have that conversation before the event, and customize our MC "style" to our clients wishes.
8. Do you take requests from guests? A - We are certainly happy to take requests, if that is the desire of the client. But again, not everyone wants that. Some only want a select few to be able to make requests; and others don't want us to take requests at all. It's totally up to our client - and we'll gladly oblige them either way. However, no matter the situation, we're always careful to manage any guest interaction in a friendly and courteous manner.
9. Can we submit a "Do Not Play" list? A - Absolutely! As a matter of fact, this is one of our favorite things to receive. Surprisingly, we feel this is even more important than a "Play List." We would certainly never want to play a song that a client hates, or brings up negative feelings on their special day.
